Wainstones

Bakewell is the little capital of the Peak District, a market town of honeyed gritstone bridges, riverside meadows and the famous pudding, and Wainstones stands right at its heart, on North Church Street, a short walk uphill from the square. Grade II listed and unmistakably Georgian, its gritstone front is dressed with stone-mullioned windows and a sage-green door beneath the climb to the parish church.

The house lives vertically, across three floors.
